Should a Pharmacist play a part in educating women about contraception options?
Flame Health Pharmacy would also like your thoughts on the recent comments from the survey conducted by manufacturer MSD.
A survey of 4,199 women aged 18-35 across 9 countries found that few women had discussed contraception options other than the pill. Two thirds had discussed birth control pills with a healthcare professional but less that a fifth had talked about non pill options.
This has prompted discussion about the role of a Pharmacist. Should they play a part in educating women about contraception options?
Please let Flame Health know your thoughts on this matter.
