New Medicine Service (NMS), are you in favour?
Results from the C & D Senate Survey have suggested that less than 60 per cent of pharmacists are in favour of the new medicine service (NMS) launching this October.
A quarter of respondents so far have said they won't have time to provide the service, while others were concerned that the NMS had been poorly implemented.
Concerns about how successful the NMS will be are also widespread, the survey has suggested, with almost three quarters of the 57 respondents saying they thought the sector would struggle to get the service off the ground.
As a pharmacist, what are your thoughts on the launch of the NMS? Do you think time and added workload is against this launch? Or are you ready to deliver this service? Please let Flame Health know your thoughts.
