Flame Health Optical Sales are working on behalf of one of the world’s leading manufacturers of optical goods, combining ophthalmic expertise and solutions with an internationally recognised brand. They are looking for a Professional Services Manager, to cover 12 months Maternity Leave, in the Birmingham area.
The Professional Services Manager will support all Professional Services activities in the UK, helping to drive business revenue & growth. To do this they will co-ordinate the delivery of CET events that build the company share of business through brand conversion, and design and technology upgrade.
Part of the role will also be to create customised training for key customers, to support commercial internal & external events with technical training presentations.
The chosen candidate will also oversee Aston University Research Partnership & consumer research surveys in order to generate & strengthen marketing claims & initiatives and deliver undergraduate training sessions.
Due to the work with the university, the desired candidate will have the ability to create and deliver great training presentations for lectures, discussions and workshops, to large and small audiences, tailored to specific pre-defined requirements and audience abilities.
 
The client are looking for  proven expertise in dispensing & optometry, with commitment to professional development in all aspects of the profession (aligned to the GOC core competencies).
A proven ability to create and build relationships with key stakeholders is also essential as are strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
 
To apply you must have recent tenure as an Optometrist & current GOC registration.Working knowledge of company dispensing tools & diagnostic equipment for the demonstration to optometrists & dispensing staff is essential.
