We have recently been instructed to recruit a Hospital Pharmacy Dispenser on behalf of our established Hospital Pharmacy client.
They provide a diverse range of over-the-counter medicines and products, as well as pharmacy services for hospital staff, outpatients and visitors. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and passionate pharmacy dispenser to join our clients friendly and dynamic team.
Pharmacy Dispenser Duties and Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to dispense and label medication from hospital outpatient prescriptions, mange stock, provide support to reception team, and provide advice to patients and staff visiting the pharmacy as necessary.
The role requires candidates to be confident dealing with customers, have good attention to detail, and be flexible, responsible and conscientious in their approach to work.
The Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday (09:00 – 18:00) and Saturday mornings (09:00 – 13:00). Working hours are scheduled to meet the needs of the business on a rota basis over the 6 days.
This post would suit an individual with previous experience working as a Pharmacy Dispenser within community pharmacy that is looking to make a change into a hospital environment.
