Flame Health Optometry are currently working with a well-known optician to recruit a full time Optical Practice manager in the Rotherham area.

The company in question has been within the Optical market since 2000 and in addition to benefiting from the latest technology and equipment, which includes a computer-based system and excellent management support, you will enjoy bright, welcoming surroundings, one-to-one service and work with an Optical team made up of Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, Contact Lens Opticians and support staff.

 Your role will be an integral part of the positive culture and ethos which is prevalent within our client’s stores.

You will actively encourage others and fully support professional development for your colleagues, and this will be mirrored of course with yourself and senior managers within the business ensuring you also achieve your goals. 

You will be responsible for:

• Planning Eye tests and contact lens appointments
• Driving sales and supporting your patients 
• Full management of the Optical department and the colleagues working alongside you
• Ensuring your clinic is always safe and customer ready 
• Making sure all Patients get a great customer experience
• Training and coaching your colleagues

You will need to be registered with the General Optical Council as a fully qualified Dispensing Optician to be considered for this role
