We have an excellent client looking for a motivated and passionate Dispensing Optician to join their Hertfordshire branch visiting patients, with dementia and other cognitive impairments, in care homes throughout the Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire areas.
This is a key role in maintaining a high standard throughout the optical team in terms of dispensing and customer service. On a day-to-day basis, you will work alongside an Optometrist to dispense and fit frames for partially sighted/ registered blind patients, and give them advice on lens type, frames and styling.
Our client require a candidate who can make all patients feel comfortable and respected at all times. They are looking for a professional and organised individual.
Due to nature of your job you are required to have a Current Clean Driving Licence and no criminal record (Criminal Record Bureau checks will be undertaken), and be happy to travel as part of the role.
Preferable Knowledge and Experience:
Optical Experience at least 1 years experience in optics
Perform all pretesting including focimetry, PD, Dilation, and pressures.
Must be doubled vaccinated
Must be willing to perform LFT testing each day
